Set up towards the end of January this year, the Four Heatons Watch Facebook Group, which is part of the Heatons Heritage Society, already has close to 1,000 members. The group was set-up to give the Four Heatons community a dedicated space in which members can keep each other updated and alert to any suspicious or criminal behaviour which might be happening (or has happened) in the surrounding areas. If anyone wants to post an incident, they are asked to mention the road name in CAPITALS so that everyone can easily see where current crime problems are occurring. Everyone should also report all incidents to the Police on 101 (or 999 if they are serious or actually occurring at the time of reporting).

The Heatons Heritage Society created the colour coded ‘4H’ Four Heatons logo which you make have seen appearing in all of the Four Heatons. A great example can be seen on the Heaton Moor Road bridge at Heaton Chapel Station showing the Heaton Moor and Heaton Chapel logos. The society’s Heatons Heritage trail leaflets for each of the separate Heatons have also been very well received.
The Society meets a few times a year at the Moor Club and their next meeting is on Monday 22nd May at 7.00 pm.
