Those of you who take your children to dance classes may well be familiar with chat amongst the parents along the lines of “I’d love to do a bit of ballet” or “I wish I could join in the jazz class”. So when we found out that Natalie Woods offers just that opportunity, we had to find out more. “Diva Dance Class” is a step-by-step, ladies dance class. It doesn’t demand the continuous fitness ‘workout’ that something like Zumba does, but it’s certainly a great way to get in shape with some stretching, flexibility exercises and a lots of different styles. Traditional dance classes can really help with flexibility, balance and toning up. Book clubs and choirs have really caught on in recent years….we reckon the traditional dance class could be the next big thing!
Diva Dance Class is held at Natalie Woods School of Theatre and Dance on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm for an hour. www.nataliewoods-theatreanddance.co.uk
