Looking for a unique gift for that special someone? Or perhaps wanting to invest in a piece of art, design or contemporary craft? Perhaps you’re interested learning something creative for yourself?

Now there is a space where you can do all of the above under one roof – and on your doorstep! Marketplace Studios in Stockport’s historic Market Square is an exciting initiative from Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. The Studios are a ‘graduate incubator’ providing start-up business support to new
Northern talent. They also provide locals with a retail outlet for discovering or commissioning unique, one-off pieces of art, design or contemporary craft, or somewhere to learn new skills.
