  4. Exam success for Stella Maris Pupils. 25 pupils from Stella Maris performed exceptionally well in their recent London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) speech exams. The exams required them to recite and discuss poems with the examiner and the older children had to perform two verse selections and discuss their meaning. Their hard work was rewarded with 11 pupils passing with merit and 14 pupils passing with distinction.
